OUR STORY
Hi, I'm Megan.
My two kids are 13 months apart. (IYKYK.)
My daughter is super active and her skin reacts to everything. The more I looked into it, the more I realized how much polyester was in her clothes, preventing her skin from breathing all day. We were already trying to make lower tox choices at home where it made sense, but finding kids’ clothes that were better without breaking the bank felt impossible.
My son has always had a giant head and a tiny waist, and now he’s getting taller by the minute. Getting shirts over his head and pants to stay on has been a nightmare.
I kept buying clothes. They ended up in the donation pile barely-worn.
The soft clothes fell apart after a few washes. The durable ones were stiff and itchy and my kids wanted nothing to do with them. And most of what was out there either looked too babyish or was trying to make my six-year-old look like a teenager.
I knew what I needed. I just couldn’t find it.

So I went ahead and made it.
I found lyocell, a plant-based fiber that’s incredibly soft, breathable, and gentle on sensitive skin. Then I spent months working with our fabric mill, testing blend after blend until we got the stretch right, the softness right, AND the durability right.
When my kids wouldn’t stop wearing the prototypes, I knew I found the one.
That’s MallowSoft. 48% Cotton, 45% Lyocell, 7% Spandex. Polyester-free. Ridiculously soft. Seriously stretchy.
Built for the way kids actually live.

A little bit of camp
To me, camp has always meant one thing: a place where kids can just be kids. Comfortable, confident, away from adult pressures and the noise of the world. Long days outside, getting messy, figuring things out.
That’s what I wanted these clothes to feel like. Not a fashion statement. Just the thing they reach for every morning without thinking about it.
If your kid is wearing Camp Wimzi and you’re not fighting about getting dressed, that’s the whole point.
What we built it around

Fabric that feels just right
MallowSoft is soft enough for sensitive skin, stretchy enough for big heads and growing bodies, and always polyester-free. Your kids will want to sleep in it. Fair warning.

Fits that move with them
Made to grow with real kids. Stretchy enough get dressed without a battle, fitted enough to actually stay put. No sizing up just to get a shirt over a big head.

Timeless, camp-inspired styles
Classic shapes and colors rooted in summer camp. Made for kids, not trends. Nothing that makes a seven-year-old look seventeen.
Thanks for being here. I hope
Camp Wimzi makes mornings a little easier.
